About Us
Sutter Cemetery District is an independent special district of the State of California, formed under the State's Health & Safety Code, by approval of the Sutter County Board of Supervisors in 1926. The District's purpose is to provide a respectful and cost-effective interment of human remains that meet the needs of our diverse community.
The Sutter Cemetery District cares and maintains the following cemeteries:
- Sutter Cemetery
- Meridian Cemetery
- Noyesburg Cemetery
- Stohlman Cemetery
- Yuba City Cemetery
