Sutter Cemetery District is an independent special district of the State of California, formed under the State's Health & Safety Code, by approval of the Sutter County Board of Supervisors in 1926. The District's purpose is to provide a respectful and cost-effective interment of human remains that meet the needs of our diverse community.

The Sutter Cemetery District's office is located in the Sutter Cemetery at 7200 Butte Avenue, Sutter, CA 95982 and the office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The phone number is (530) 755-0346.
Sutter Cemetery District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
